为了进一步了解和关心国际留学生在校学习和生活情况、增进对中外大学生所在的国家文化的认识、培养学生国际视野、促进文化交流和文明沟通，伟德国际最新地址推出了教育开放推广季“跨文化视野”之“和山面对面”系列访谈节目。3月21日下午国际商学院的余兴星同学对明毓烺进行了访谈。

明毓烺，来自意大利那不勒斯东方大学，一名2025级东语专业的学生。

Miriam，from the Oriental University of Italy,is a student majoring in the Asian languages in the class of 2025.

1.余兴星：嗨!非常感谢您今天抽出时间参加我们的活动。首先，欢迎来到我们的学校!作为一名来自意大利的交换生，我们非常好奇您对意大利文化和生活的独特看法。你能先简单介绍一下自己吗？

明毓烺：好的，嗨！我叫明毓烺，我来自意大利，我的故乡是里雅斯特，这不是一个寻常的城市，意大利人也不知道它在哪里，但它离威尼斯很近，需要两个小时的火车车程，但现在我在那不勒斯学习，我学习中文和日语。

余兴星：太棒了！意大利是一个充满历史和文化的国家，我们有很多问题想问你。希望通过这次采访，能让我们更好地了解意大利文化、生活方式以及您的个人经历。首先，意大利以其丰富的文化遗产而闻名，你能分享一下你家乡最著名的节日文化传统吗？

明毓烺：最出名的在我们家乡被称为圣尼可洛，在十二月的第一天，它非常棒，因为根据传统，你的家人会带来巧克力，你聚集在周围，我们一起吃圣尼古罗雕像的巧克力。圣诞节也很重要，我想我们都知道圣诞节，父母会给你礼物，复活节也是非常有名的,你可以烤一些像蛋糕，意面等和你的家人一起享用，我认为所有的节日都围绕着家庭，所以在这段时间里留在你的家庭是非常重要的。

YU XINGXING:Hi!thank you so much for taking the time to join us today. First of all, welcome to our school!As an exchange student from Italy, we are very curious to hear your unique perspectives on Italian culture and life. Could you start by introducing yourself a little?

Miriam:Okay, hi! I’m Miriam, I'm from Italy and my native city is Trieste. It's not a common city. Also Italian people don't know where it is, but it's near to Venice like two hours with train, but right now I'm studying in Naples and I study Chinese and Japanese.

YU XINGXING:That's wonderful ! Italy is a country full of history and culture ,and we have so many questions for you .we hope this interview will help us better understand Italian culture and lifestyle and your personal experience.The first question is that, Italy is very famous for its rich cultural heritage. Could you share the most famous cultural tradition of festival in your hometown?

Miriam:The most famous in my town, it's called San Nicolò, in the first days of December and it's very nice because like the tradition here，your family brings chocolate,  you gather all around and we eat like this little statue of chocolate of San Nicolò. it's also very important like, Christmas and so, I think we all know Christmas where the parents give you a gift and also Easter, it's very famous. You bake some like cake,pasta with your family,its very nice. I think that all of the festival are around family,  it's very important to stay in your family during this time.

3.余兴星：意大利的生活节奏是怎样的？例如，午餐和晚餐用餐时间与这里有什么不同？

明毓烺：这非常非常不同，因为假设你们在十一点吃午餐，但我们倾向于在一点吃午餐，还有晚餐，你们吃晚餐在五点、六点左右。但现在我们八点吃饭，有时甚至九点吃饭。是的，非常非常不同，所以我们不习惯在你这个时候吃东西，这非常非常困难。很多中国朋友邀请我们吃饭，然后他们就会说，“我们能在4点见面吗？”不，拜托，我们可以晚点走吗，因为现在不太合适。”

余兴星：如果你在一点吃饭，你不会感到饥饿吗？

明毓烺：不，这是正常的。我们在8、9点吃早餐，有时我们也会休息一下。所以在10点或11点的时候你可以吃点东西，假如你吃了一个苹果或一份零食，你就有点饱了，然后就准备吃午餐。

YU XINGXING:What's the daily rhythm of the life like in Italian?for example,How do meal times like lunch and  dinner differ from here?

Miriam:it's very, very different because like you eat at 11 o'clock lunch, but we tend to eat like 1 ：30. and also, dinner, you eat like 5 o'clock, 6 or so. But now we eat at 8 o'clock or sometimes also 9. Yeah, it's very, very different. So we are not used to eat at this your time. It's very, very difficult.  a lot of our Chinese friends invited us to like eat and then they will say, can we meet like at 4 o'clock?  No, please, can we go a little late because now it's not good.

YU XINGXING:you don't feel hungry if you eat at 13？

Miriam:No, it's normal.  we do breakfast at 8, 9 o'clock and sometimes we can also have a break. So you can eat something at 10 or 11 o'clock. Like you eat an apple or a snack, so you're kind of full and then you are ready for the lunch.

4.余兴星：意大利的教育系统如何，您认为哪种系统更适合您？

明毓烺：我对中国的系统了解不多，但我认为它们非常相似。我的意思是，我们没有那么多小时的学习时间，比如我们学习两个小时，15分钟的休息时间，然后再是两个小时这样，我们正在学的中文课程大约需要4个小时，有时我们会有两三次休息，这非常不同。我们没想到会有四个小时持续学习，在我们那，我们只有两个小时再两个小时。

余兴星：你需要参加大学入学考试吗？

明毓烺：是的，但是我们没有高考。我们有很多不同类型的大学，也有很多考试。假设你选择了语言，你需要进行一种测试。假设你喜欢工程学，你可以选择另一种类型，这样你就可以选择你想要的学习计划，然后你对这种类型进行适当的测试。所以并不是每个人都有一个同样的测试，你只用为一种类型的问题做出选择并做好准备。

YU XINGXING:How does the education system in Italy different for here, which system do you find more suitable for you?

Miriam:I don't know a lot about the Chinese system, but I think it's quite similar. I mean, we don't have so many hours of study, we do like two hours then break, like 15 minutes break, and then two hours, and then like this, we don't have, I mean, right now we're doing Chinese actually it course and it's like 4 hours and sometimes we have like two or three breaks. It's very different. We didn't expect to have like four hours of continuing studying . In our home, we just have two hours and two hours.

YU XINGXING:Do you need to join the like the colleges entrance examination ?

Miriam:Yeah, but we don't have Gaokao. There are a lot of different types of universities and there are a lot of tests that you can do . So if you choose like languages, you do a type of test. If you do like engineering, you do another type so you can choose which study program you want. And then you take a proper test for that type. So there is not like one test for everyone. You have to choose and prepare yourself for that type of questions.

5.余兴星：意大利学生通常是怎样平衡学习和社交的呢？

明毓烺：我认为在意大利，社交生活比学习更重要。例如，我认为人们不倾向于花很多时间学习。他们更喜欢和朋友一起出去，或者即使必须学习，我通常和我的朋友一起出去，比如在一些酒吧，我们一起学习，但我们也喜欢吃零食聊天，喜欢八卦。所以我们不专注于学习，如果我需要说，这不是我脑海中的第一件重要的事情，但现在学习比社交生活更重要，这里不同，因为我看到很多学生喜欢学习而不出去玩，但我认为他们这样是对的，我的意思是，你需要找到一份工作，拥有美好的生活，所以为了找工作，你必须去学习，但是，在意大利是不一样的。

YU XINGXING:How do students in Italy usually balance their studies and social life?

Miriam: I think in Italy it's more important your social life than your study. for example, I don't think people tend to study a lot of time. They prefer like to go out with friends or even if you have to study, I usually go out with my friends like in some bars and we study all together, but we also  take a snack and chat and like gossip a little. so we're not focused on studying,It's not the first important thing that came in my mind if I need to say. now it's more important studying than the social life and it's different from here because I see a lot of students that they prefer to study and not go out, but I think it's right. I mean, you have to find a job and have a good life, so you need a job and you have to study, but  in Italy is not the same.

6.余兴星：意大利人通常如何表现友好和尊重？例如，在问候或与他人交谈时，是否有任何特殊的习惯？

明毓烺：如果你正在与一个你不认识的人交谈，如果他或她比你年长，你需要使用“dare del lei”，就像“您”。但前提是你不了解它们，如果你在第一次那样与某人交谈，他们会告诉你，你可以平常的说话不用说“您”，这不是很重要，我认为你必须尊重比如你们的父母，但这与这里不同，我知道你们有一种严肃的文化，你必须尊重例如你的父母和你的祖父，但在意大利，少一些，不那么重要，但你仍然必须要有尊重。

YU XINGXING:How do people in Italian usually express friendliness and respect? For example, are there any special habits when greeting or talking to others?

Miriam:If if you're talking with someone that you don't know and if he or she is older than you have to use “dare der lei”, It's like“您”. It's something like that, only if you don't know them. But if you're talking with someone in the first time,they will tell you that you can just talk normally without“您”.So it's not so important. you have to respect like your parents, but it's different from here. I know you have like a strict culture. So, you really have to respect your parents and your grandfather, but in Italy it's a bit less than yours, less important, but you still have to have respect.

7.余兴星：作为一名交换学生，在这里生活和学习面临的最大挑战是什么？

明毓烺：点餐？有时候这很困难，因为他们不懂英语，所以你必须给他们看一张照片，比如：“我想要这个”。 还有，如果有人来告诉你，你不能去那里或类似的事情，他们会用中文跟你说话，但是，发生了什么？我理解不了。所以我认为听懂别人在跟你说什么，还有适应用餐（是比较困难的）。我们不喜欢吃得太早，所以我们仍在努力适应如何做到这一点，这两件事。

余兴星：关于交通方面呢？

明毓烺：哦，没有，我比起意大利更喜欢这里，因为你可以用你的手机做任何事，例如在5分钟内，你可以打到出租车，然后你可以去任何地方，也可以去地铁。它是如此棒，如此便宜。意大利非常非常昂贵,出租车和地铁太贵了。所以在这里我感觉自己像个女王，我可以去任何地方而不需要花费很多钱,非常好。

YU XINGXING:As an exchange student, what has been the biggest challenges for you living and studying here .

Miriam:Ordering Chinese food? Sometimes it's difficult because they don't understand English, so you have to like show them a picture, like I want this one. Also, like if someone comes to you and they have to tell you, you can't go there or something like this, and they will talk to you in Chinese is like, what's going on? I don't understand.  So I think hearing what people are saying to you and also food. Yeah, we don't like to eat too early. So we are still trying to figure it out how to do that，these two things.

YU XINGXING:about the transport.？

Miriam:Oh, no, I love it so much better here than Italy because you can do with your phone. So like in 5 minutes, you have your taxi and then you can go everywhere and also metro. It's so nice and so cheap. Italy, it's very, very expensive. Both taxi and metro.It's so expensive. So here I feel like a queen, I can go everywhere without spending a lot of money. Now it's very nice.

8. 余兴星：你未来有什么计划？你认为自己会继续在国际化的环境中学习或工作吗？

明毓烺：是的，我认为我必须学习更多才能提高我的中文，因为它非常困难。所以我必须尝试学习很多东西。我也认为自己处于一个国际化的环境中，我想和新的人一起练习我的语言，所以我希望找到一份可以帮助我的工作。我仍然不知道我该怎么做，尽管我必须做出选择，但现在我想专注于学习中文。

YU XINGXING:What are your plans for the future? Do you see yourself continuing to study or work in a international environment?

Miriam:Yes, I think I have to study a lot more to improve my Chinese because it's very difficult. So I have to  try and study a lot. And I also see myself in an international environment, I think I want to practice my language with new people, so I hope to find a job that can help me with that. But I still don't know what I'm going to do，I still have to choose. Right now, I want to focus on learning Chinese.

9.余兴星：你最喜欢这里的什么？你对意大利有什么特别想念的吗？

明毓烺：男朋友，我的家人和我的朋友。但除此之外，没有，我的意思是，我喜欢这里。我们在意大利没有校园，只有一些建筑物，你必须步行去上课，但是这里是如此的美丽，校园很大，很多中国人告诉我们，这里很小，对我来说，它非常大，所以我喜欢它。而且这样可以更容易地去上课，感觉只要两分钟。

YU XINGXING:what do you like most about being here? Is there anything you special miss about Italy？

Miriam:Boyfriend ，and my family and my friend. But other , no, I mean, I like here. we don't have a campus in Italy, just have some buildings and you have to walk to go to class. But here, it's so nice, the campus is beautiful, it's big. I know a lot of Chinese people told us,  it's small here. I don't know. For me, it' so big. So I love it and also it's easier to go to class like two minutes.

10.余兴星：关于你认为学习中文最具挑战性的部分是什么？

明毓烺：说，因为有时候我无法使用正确的语法来说话。有时候也有听，因为如果我不明白你在说的词语，我就无法理解你的意思。我可以尝试，但是很难真正理解某人说的句子，这并不容易，但可以在网上搜索，我们有一个应用程序，我们可以搜索如何拼写，所以我觉得写作更容易，我认为听和说是最难的。

YU XINGXING:what do you think is the most challenging part of learning Chinese?

Miriam:Speaking， because sometimes I cannot use the right grammar to speak. And sometimes also listening， because if I don't know the words that you are saying, there is no way that I can get the meaning. I can try, but it's very difficult to really understand the sentence that someone is making，it's not easy, but you can check on internet. And we have an app so that we can check how to write something. So it's easier writing, I think like listening and talking are the most difficult.
